VELOSIT® SM 841

Heavy Duty Decoupling Membrane

VELOSIT SM 841 is a multilayer fabric mat used for de-coupling of floor coverings from the substrate. 

Properties

  • Integrated reinforcement mesh
  • 5-layer design
  • High tear resistance
  • Prevents the adhesive from penetrating the mat which results in a full decoupling
  • Suitable for traffic loads of up to 7.5 t/sqm
  • Green

Typical Application Areas

  • De-coupling of tiles, natural stones, etc. from substrates like screed, plaster etc.
  • De-coupling of young still shrinking and demanding substrates
  • Suitable for high loads like forklift traffic
  • Suitable for heated and non-heated cement and gypsum screeds
