KG has been selling chemical and mineral specialty products worldwide since 1894. A section of a hall (approx. 1,100 sqm) was getting on in years. The floor and the edge areas of the ramps needed to be recoated.<\/p>\n<p>The contract for the refurbishment was awarded to Leonhard Weiss in 2023. The surface was then primed with epoxy resin and completely sanded with quartz sand.<\/p>\n<p>Approx. 34.5 tons of VELOSIT SC 252 were pumped by Kotan Bau using a Mix Mobil Bremat S3.15 in less than 3 hours. The self-levelling, cementitious floor leveling compound was applied by Leonhard Weiss in a layer thickness of approx. 17 mm.<\/p>\n<p>The floor leveling compounds based on VELOSIT SC 252 achieve a compressive strength of more than 30 MPa after a short time and are then already fully usable.
