Floor renovation with high requirements<\/h2>

The badly damaged concrete floor of a metalworking company in Hille, East Westphalia, had to be renovated. Years of heavy-duty use and heat caused by welding had severely damaged the floor. The client wanted an abrasion-resistant floor that would withstand the extreme environmental conditions and requirements and also impress with its attractive appearance.<\/p>\n

Eichhorn GmbH from Bad Oeynhausen recommended the highly abrasion-resistant floor leveling compound VELOSIT SL 507 from VELOSIT, which was ultimately chosen for the 460 sqm.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n

The old floor had to be partially milled out and then shot-blasted. Once the oil residue had been removed from the floor, the surface was pre-treated with the 2K epoxy primer VELOSIT PR 303 and then scattered with quartz sand 0.7 mm – 1.25 mm over the entire surface.<\/p>\n

The installation of VELOSIT SL 507 was carried out with an M tec Duo Mix by the company Eichhorn Beschichtungsstechnik.<\/p>\n

Although VELOSIT SL 507 is not suitable for sanding due to its extremely hard aggregates, it is possible to polish the surface and achieve a silky matt appearance.<\/p>\n

The entire surface was also treated with VELOSIT FH 921 silicate\/siliconate surface finish, which ensured an even denser and easier-to-clean structure.<\/p>\n

The client is very satisfied with the result. The new floor meets the requirements of a high degree of hardness and impresses with its beautiful concrete look.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n<\/div>\n <\/section>\n \n\n
