Rapid refurbishment with an attractive design<\/h2>

In late summer 2023, optician Behcet Durgut rented a store in Detmold.<\/p>\n

The property had to be completely refurbished, including the 80 sqm floor area.<\/p>\n

The client wanted a quick refurbishment, as the store was due to open four weeks before Christmas so that the Christmas business could still be picked up. The floor also needed to have an attractive appearance.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n

The company Umbau GmbH from Detmold was commissioned with the renovation. The old floor coverings were removed using grinding technology until an old natural stone floor that was firmly bonded to the substrate was exposed.<\/p>\n

The substrate was then prepared with the 2K epoxy primer VELOSIT PR 303 and a full-surface sanding with quartz sand (0.7 mm – 1.25 mm).<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

In the next step, VELOSIT SL 503 floor leveling compound was applied and pigmented black. The following day, the surface was polished to a matt finish with a 450-grit grit and, on the same day, impregnated with the mineral surface finish VELOSIT FH 921, which makes the floor much less sensitive to soiling.<\/p>\n

The eyewear store opened on time on Friday, November 24, 2023.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n<\/div>\n <\/section>\n \n\n
