KG has been selling specialty chemical and mineral products worldwide since 1894. Part of a hall (approx. 1,100 sqm) was showing its age. The floor and the edges of the ramps needed to be recoated.<\/p>\n<p>The contract for the renovation was awarded to Leonhard Weiss in 2023. The surface was then primed with epoxy resin and sanded with quartz sand over the entire area.<\/p>\n<p>Approximately 34.5 tons of VELOSIT SC 252 were pumped by Kotan Bau using a Mix Mobil Bremat S3.15 in less than 3 hours. The self-leveling, cementitious floor screed was applied by Leonhard Weiss in a layer thickness of approx. 17 mm.<\/p>\n<p>The VELOSIT SC 252-based floor screeds achieve a compressive strength of more than 30 MPa after only a short time and are then fully usable.
