Renovation of the floor and the peripheral areas with ramps<\/h2>

The long-established company Lehmann & Voss & Co. KG has been selling specialty chemical and mineral products worldwide since 1894. Part of a hall (approx. 1,100 sqm) was showing its age. The floor and the edges of the ramps needed to be recoated.<\/p>\n

The contract for the renovation was awarded to Leonhard Weiss in 2023. A WHG coating was to be used.<\/p>\n

VELOSIT SC 252 was chosen as the self-leveling compound due to its rapid strength development.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n

The old floor was milled off and shot blasted. The surface was then primed with epoxy resin and sanded with quartz sand over the entire area.<\/p>\n

Approximately 34.5 tons of VELOSIT SC 252 were pumped by Kotan Bau using a Mix Mobil Bremat S3.15 in less than 3 hours. The self-leveling, cementitious floor screed was applied by Leonhard Weiss in a layer thickness of approx. 17 mm.<\/p>\n

The VELOSIT SC 252-based floor screeds achieve a compressive strength of more than 30 MPa after only a short time and are then fully usable. The formulation used results in a final strength of CT-C50-F7.<\/p>\n

The edge area with the ramps was redesigned using VELOSIT RM 202 repair mortar to ensure that future forklift traffic will have no problems driving on the new surface.<\/p>\n

The area will be used for logistics at Lehmann & Voss in the future.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n<\/div>\n <\/section>\n \n\n
