Floor renovation with high requirements<\/h2>

The badly damaged concrete floor of a metalworking company in Hille, East Westphalia, needed to be renovated. Years of heavy-duty use and heat generated by welding had caused severe damage to the floor. The client wanted an abrasion-resistant floor that could withstand the extreme environmental conditions and requirements and also looked attractive.<\/p>\n

Eichhorn GmbH from Bad Oeynhausen recommended the highly abrasion-resistant self-leveling floor compound VELOSIT SL 507 from VELOSIT, which was ultimately chosen for the 460 sqm floor.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n

The old floor had to be partially milled out and then shot blasted. Once the oil residues had been removed from the floor, the surface was pretreated with VELOSIT PR 303 2K epoxy primer and then completely covered with 0.7 mm \u2013 1.25 mm quartz sand.<\/p>\n

VELOSIT SL 507 was installed using an M tec Duo Mix by Eichhorn Beschichtungstechnik.<\/p>\n

Although VELOSIT SL 507 is not suitable for grinding due to its extremely hard aggregates, it is possible to polish the surface to achieve a silk matt appearance.<\/p>\n

The entire surface was also treated with the silicate\/siliconate surface finish VELOSIT FH 921, which ensured an even denser and easier-to-clean structure.<\/p>\n

The client is very satisfied with the result. The new floor meets the requirements for a high degree of hardness and impresses with its beautiful concrete look.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n<\/div>\n <\/section>\n \n\n
