Rapid renovation with attractive design<\/h2>

In late summer 2023, optician Behcet Durgut rented a storefront in Detmold.<\/p>\n

The property needed to be completely renovated, including the 80 sqm floor space.<\/p>\n

The client wanted the renovation to be completed quickly, as the store was scheduled to open four weeks before Christmas in order to take advantage of the holiday shopping season. In addition, the floor was to have an attractive appearance.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n\n

The renovation work was commissioned to Umbau GmbH from Detmold. The old floor coverings were removed using grinding technology until an old natural stone floor firmly adhering to the substrate was exposed.<\/p>\n

The substrate was then prepared with VELOSIT PR 303 2K epoxy primer and a full-surface sanding with quartz sand (0.7 mm \u2013 1.25 mm).<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

The next step was to apply the black-pigmented VELOSIT SL 503 floor leveling compound. The following day, the surface was polished to a matt finish using 450-grit sandpaper and, on the same day, impregnated with the mineral surface finish VELOSIT FH 921, which makes the floor much more resistant to dirt.<\/p>\n

The eyewear store opened on schedule on Friday, November 24, 2023.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n<\/div>\n <\/section>\n \n\n
