A severely damaged magnesite screed had to be renovated in a warehouse complex consisting of several halls. The surface had been repeatedly repaired with various systems, resulting in a surface that could only be used to a limited extent. The owner wanted to start with a floor that was as good as new as part of a new use and therefore a complete removal of the approx. 30 mm thick magnesite screed was necessary. The floor level was lowered by 10 – 15 mm and the surface was rebuilt with a mineral finish based on VELOSIT SC 253. After the screed had been removed, the milling work had resulted in high roughness depths, which required a leveling with a layer thickness of 5 to 20 mm, in some areas even 40 mm.
